Maker Blade Pro

Maker Blade Pro is the next evolution of the 3D-printed utility knife designed specifically for makers. Built around a standard utility razor blade, it requires no extra hardware and delivers a large set of integrated tools for any 3D printing enthusiast:

- Triple-Position Blade Lock – locks safely closed, extends 5 mm for box opening, or fully extends for standard cutting.
- Filament Cutter – a flex-actuated feature that slices filament cleanly when the blade is closed.
- Tangle Finder & Cutter – trace tangled filament back to the knot with the built-in guide hole and snip it free on the spot.
- Filament Spool Gauge – precision-marked lines let you estimate how much filament is left on your spool in seconds.
- Each ridge is an increment of 100g of filament, when you are at the base it starts at 1000g and moves towards the back of the blade until you hit the last ridge which is 0g
- Replaceable Print Bed Scraper/Pry Tool – clips onto the back for removing prints; easily replaced when worn.
- Hidden PTFE Quick Disconnect – located under the scraper for fast tubing swaps on your printer or AMS setup.

Operation: The blade locks in multiple positions, closed, box opener (5mm), and fully extended. To get past the lock you must pull the thumb slide down towards the sharp edge of the blade and then move it forward and backward to your desired position.
