The Biometric Identification and Research-based Distribution Framework for Environmental Enrichment and Data-enabled Ecological Research project is a collaborative project between Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and the University of Georgia that integrates onboard electronics to passively monitor and record weight and migration data from ID-banded wren birds. The device is designed for field deployment and supports long-term ecological research by combining custom hardware, embedded systems, and practical environmental engineering.
